"The world population is ageing. It is set to become one of the defining megatrends of the century. For the first time in history, there are now more people aged over 65 than there are children under the age of five."

Ageing is inevitable but designing for it isn’t. If the world population is ageing and is going to live longer, how must we re-adjust ourselves to look at the inevitable when we live in an era obsessed with youth’s needs and wants?

Join us for a mini-hackathon to explore the current social narrative and technology around the ageing paradox, and take a fresh perspective on reframing the narrative around designing a future for the new ‘olds’.
